Ariana Franco is a professional genealogical researcher who studies 19th and 20th-century American immigration and naturalization, as well as Southern Italian localities. She works with post-WWII recreated Italian archival records and uses DNA evidence along with traditional genealogical research to prove or disprove family lore. Most of her research endeavors are like “untangling a bowl of spaghetti.”
