Scholarship
Open to High School Seniors of Italian Descent
Requirements for consideration of your application:
v
You
must be studying Italian in school.
If your school does not offer Italian, you must attach a letter on
school letterhead from a guidance counselor or administrator stating that
fact.
v
You
must submit an original, grammatically correct, typed (double-spaced, 12
font) essay of 500 (minimum) to 750 (maximum) words showing evidence of
Italian family history research. With your essay, you must submit a family
tree of four generations (including yourself) displaying your Italian
ancestry.
v
Your
application must be accompanied by a letter of recommendation on school
letterhead from your Italian teacher (or, if Italian is not offered, your
principal or counselor) attesting to your character and scholarship.
v
Completed applications, essays,
and family trees must be mailed to :

Applications must be received by Friday, April 30, 2010.

committee will review all applications and select the final winner by June
1, 2010. Winner’s name and school will be announced at our website. Winner’s
